THE TRAINING PROCESS
All trainees start their careers together on the introductory days. This makes it easier to get started at Zweygart and offers the opportunity to establish intensive contacts with the trainer and other trainees. After the introductory days, the training usually begins with work in one of our specialist stores or the logistics centre. It continues with an individually planned run, adapted to the respective job description, through the departments of the Zweygart specialist trade group. Getting to know the individual departments and areas of responsibility is particularly important, because only in this way can the trainees acquire extensive knowledge, get to know the processes and structures as well as all colleagues. In this way we can guarantee a varied education and convey a feeling for the professional world.

For us, trainees are not only trainees, but also potential employees to whom we would like to offer a permanent job after successfully completing their training.
Takeover rate of over 95% – We meet the needs of our junior staff primarily from our own ranks. For this reason, we strive to take on an employment contract after completion of the training. At the end of your training we will look together for a suitable field of work for you, tailored to your personal strengths and wishes as well as our needs.
Of course, learning does not stop after training. Following their training, we offer all employees the opportunity to further their professional and personal development.

THE EXACT COURSE OF YOUR DESIRED TRAINING CAN BE FOUND HERE:
Wholesale and foreign trade clerk
During your training you will go through the following areas:
- Two-art logistics centre Ehningen (2 months)
- Zweygart Fachmarkt (10 – 12 months, location depends on training location)
- Accounting, administration Gärtringen (3 months) (only for training in Gärtringen)
- Product management, administration in Gärtringen (3 months, only for training in Gärtringen)
- Marketing, administration in Gärtringen (3 months, only for training in Gärtringen)
- Disposition/purchasing, administration in Gärtringen (3 – 6 months, only for training in Gärtringen)
- Customer service, Gärtringen administration (3 months or until end of training)
At the end of your training, individual priorities will be set. Together we look for a suitable field of activity for you, adapted to your personal strengths and wishes as well as our needs, where we would also like to take over you after your completed training. In addition to the vocational school, additional in-house courses are an integral part of the training. Once a week you take part in internal lessons during working hours. Here you will learn everything about our products and IT, get to know internal processes and expand your commercial knowledge
In part-time (1.5 days a week) you will learn the theoretical knowledge in one of the following vocational schools:
- Training in Gärtringen: Commercial vocational school centre Böblingen
- Education in Bonn: Friedrich-List Berufskolleg Bonn
- Training in Olpe: Berufskolleg des Kreis Olpe
After your training as a wholesale and foreign trade clerk (m/f)
you can be used in the following areas:
- Customer advice and support in the office or in the field
- Customer service in one of our specialist stores
- Purchasing tools, fittings, fastening technology or occupational safety
- Product management tools, fittings, fastening technology or occupational safety
- Safety engineering
- Accounting and bookkeeping
- Marketing
- Sales / Field service
Retailer (m/f)
During your training you will go through the following areas in the two-way specialist store:
- instrument
- DIN and standard parts
- mist
- industrial safety
- cash
At the end of your training, individual priorities will be set. Together we look for a suitable job for you, tailored to your personal strengths and wishes as well as our needs, where we would also like to take you over after your completed training. In addition to the vocational school, additional in-house courses are an integral part of the training. Once a week you take part in internal lessons during working hours. Here you will learn everything about our products and IT, get to know internal processes and expand your commercial knowledge.
In part-time (1.5 days a week) you will learn the theoretical knowledge in one of the following vocational schools:

After your training as a retail salesman/woman
you can be used in the following areas:
- Customer advice in one of our specialist stores in the areas of tools, fittings, fastening technology or occupational safety
- Customer advice and support in the office or in the field
Warehouse logistics specialist
During your training you will go through the following areas in the two-way logistics centre in Ehningen:
- goods receipt
- goods dispatch
- order picking
- Disposition (3 months)
At the end of your training, individual priorities will be set. Together we look for a suitable field of activity for you, adapted to your personal strengths and wishes as well as our needs, where we would also like to take over you after your completed training.
